On June 26, the 6th SEMI-e Shenzhen International Semiconductor Technology and Application Exhibition grandly opened at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center! UNISOC was invited to attend the “2024 China Automotive Semiconductor Conference” and delivered a keynote presentation.
This year’s “2024 China Automotive Semiconductor Conference” focused on the automotive semiconductor industry chain, particularly advanced packaging technology for automotive-grade semiconductors, showcasing the latest technologies, products, highlights, and trends in the semiconductor industry. During the keynote session, Pan Yang, Product Marketing Manager at UNISOC, presented on “FPGA Empowering the Intelligent and Connected Future of China’s New Energy Vehicles,” providing an in-depth overview of the application prospects of FPGA chips in cockpit experiences, autonomous driving, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), electronic rearview mirrors (CMS), and vehicle networking. He also introduced the company’s automotive-grade FPGA devices and product road map to over 100 professional attendees.
In recent years, the trends of “intelligentization, electrification, networking, and sharing” have accelerated the rapid evolution of automotive electronic technologies and architectures. To meet the rapidly growing demand for highly flexible and scalable solutions in the automotive sector, UNISOC has launched the automotive-grade FPGA device PGL25G6A. This chip has received AEC-Q100 Grade 2 automotive certification and features an innovative LUT structure with independent intellectual property rights, providing approximately 27k equivalent LUT4s. It integrates a rich array of on-chip resources including RAM, DSP, DDR3, and multiple I/O interfaces, supporting up to LVDS 1Gbps and DDR3 800Mbps, meeting the needs of cockpit displays, LED car lights, and other market applications.
Moving forward, UNISOC plans to release other models of automotive-grade FPGA chips to cater to applications such as advanced driver assistance systems, in-vehicle Ethernet, in-car entertainment systems, and electronic rearview mirrors, empowering the intelligent and connected development of China’s new energy vehicles!
